My linguistic and intercultural skills come from studies and prolonged periods living in France, Spain, Argentina, England and French-speaking Switzerland.

I already began before my studies to pursue an interest in art history and architecture. My music and dance activities go back to childhood days. An enduring love of music was then what led me, after completing the French Maîtrise franco-allemande degree, to embark on a career in international concert management.

Often asked to translate texts during my work in cultural management in Paris, London, Munich, Berlin and Buenos Aires, I finally decided to acquire professional qualifications in the field and undertook a second course of studies culminating in the degree of Diplom-Übersetzerin.

Since 2003 I have been working in Berlin as a freelance translator for literary non-fiction.
